Lent is a Wonderful Time To Make a Special Commitment

I received this from two wonderful women, both Ministers in our Church. Maybe you would like to join in.

On Ash Wednesday, February 25th we will be joined by Christians throughout the world in the celebration of Lent, 40 days plus Sundays until Easter Sunday. We here at First Congregational have an awesome opportunity to make a special commitment during these 40 days.

All members, friends of and especially our children and youth, are invited to participate in a "Complaint Free" Lent. (Jan and Martha will be handing out purple wrist bands tonight. You might be able to make something similar if you wish to participate.)

Gandhi said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world...."

I'm going to try to be 'complaint free'. What about you?
