Sally Fields is my favorite actor. I remember her speech when accepting an Academy Award to the effect that 'if Mom's were in charge, there would be no war'. Amen! For Better or For Worse has been my favorite comic strip 'from the beginning'. I have corresponded with Lynn Johnston, it's creator. She is a nice, 'regular' person who does not 'take on airs' as my grandmother would have said. I admire her very much. I still have some of the old strips that I saved because the 'spoke to me'.
